Abundance: Occasional; 4 records in 3 Kentucky counties (Map of UCR Distribution); data from the Regional bird-monitoring efforts are too few to determine a trend in the population migrating through the Region (see also Regional Bird-Monitoring Plan).

Status: Transient during spring (1 record) and fall (3 records); photograph (see link below).

Regional High Count: 2 (29 August–4 September 1984; Pulaski County, Kentucky; Jackie B. Elmore, Sr.; Stamm 1985a).
