If you use data from these reports in a publication, please acknowledge the source of your data in the publication. Failure to provide this basic legal courtesy by many in the bird publication community has prompted me to delay publication of these reports for far longer than was formerly the case; if efforts are made to correct this problem, I may resume earlier publication of them.

As part of an effort to describe the avifauna of the Upper Cumberland Region in some detail, bird reports for forty seasons were compiled.  These began with the winter 20002001 season and currently end with the fall 2010 season.
