between Nashville and Knoxville on I-40), The Birds of Putnam
County, Tennessee provides
information about many aspects of the birdlife of this topographically
diverse county. Results of a 500-stop roadside bird survey of the county
during summer and winter are especially noteworthy. Few counties in
Tennessee have received as much survey attention as Putnam.
