Central Node for UCR Foray in Putnam County, Tennessee6–12 June 2011

A foray was conducted in Putnam County 612 June 2011, becoming the first of its kind to be conducted in this county, which has, however, been the subject of Summer Roadside Surveys (SRS) during four years (1991, 1996, 2001, and 2006) over the past two decades (LINK to SRS Results).     The focal species of the 2011 UCR Foray in Putnam County follow: Ruffed Grouse, Yellow-crowned Night-Heron, Warbling Vireo, and Brown-headed Nuthatch. Only the vireo failed to be recorded during the foray.
